    "TINKU" means "gathering" in Quechua, a South American native language and its also the name of an ancestral Andean dance- in which our song was inspired.
    Kofre is a Ska Latino band based in New York, for whom the immigrant experience is the primary influence, and for over a decade they have been honing their own "Ska-York" style which takes influence from ska, punk, jazz, reggae, metal, hardcore, mixed with Andean and Latin culture, creating a sound reflective of this effervescent city.
